On May 13, 2025, Bucks County will be dedicating and re-naming Bridge No. 293 located on Gravel Hill Road in honor of U. S. Army SP4 Michael Anthony Pastorino. SP4 Pastorino was a resident of Upper Southampton Township who lost his life in the Vietnam War. This dedication is a part of the Bucks County Vietnam Veterans Memorial Bridge Program which dedicates its county-owned bridges to the 136 residents who gave their lives in the Vietnam War. A service is scheduled for 11:00 am. All are invited to attend.
The Board of Supervisors requested that Bucks County dedicates and renames this bridge in honor of SP4 Pastorino by Resolution No. 2024 – 15 approved on July 9, 2024.
Please note that a portion of Gravel Hill Road will be closed from approximately 10:30 am to 12:30 pm on this date.
